A new center dedicated to cancer research has officially opened its doors in Milwaukee.
The Medical College of Wisconsin held a ceremony Tuesday to introduce the Center for Cancer Discovery.
This will also serve as the region’s first facility solely focused on cancer research.
Located on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus, the center will gradually welcome its full team of scientists and staff, with the move expected to be completed by October.
