A Kaukauna woman who turned on water in homes to purposely flood them has been convicted.
FOX11 reports that 41-year-old Kendall Strobel-Nieft returned to court last week and was found guilty due to a no contest plea for two counts of burglary to a building or dwelling and two counts of criminal damage to property over $2,500.
Six other counts were dismissed but read into the record.
A criminal complaint says Strobel-Nieft admitted to police that she went into homes between 2021 and 2024 for remodeling ideas.
However, she would turn on the water in sinks and showers and leave them running to damage the homes.
According to police, the 41-year-old, “never got in trouble as a young woman, and this made her feel something she hasn’t felt before.”
She’ll return to court on September 25th for sentencing.
