Eight Manitowoc County students are getting a part of their college education paid for by the Golden K Kiwanis.
The students from Manitowoc Lincoln, Manitowoc Lutheran, and Roncalli High Schools each received a $500 scholarship due to their “outstanding academic accomplishments and participation in extracurricular activities.”
Sarah Salek, Elyana Reed, Paige Endries, and Annika Strazny from Lincoln were honored, as were Lancers Logan Brooks, Addison Korte, and Greta Buege, as well as Isabella Jacky of Roncalli.
Funds for the scholarships were raised from Golden K Kiwanis’ brat frys and donations from individual members.
