A local state representative is set to discuss education with his constituents in Sheboygan next week.
26th District Assemblyman Joe Sheehan will be holding a K-12 education informational town hall on Tuesday (August 5th) from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Mead Public Library.
At the town hall, Representative Sheehan will be joined by Anne Chapman, the Research Director for the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials.
The choice to hold a town hall regarding education comes after Sheehan’s office conducted a poll to gauge what issues Sheboyganites most wanted to discuss.
With a lengthy career in education prior to becoming an elected official, Sheehan said, “I hope this meeting will serve as a great way to learn about the current issues facing K-12 Education and answer any questions you may have.”
Next week’s town hall will be held within the Rocca Room at the library.
Anyone with questions regarding the meeting can contact Representative Sheehan’s office at 608-237-9126.
