Ray Hubbart of Manitowoc is one of the best senior golfers in the country.
Hubbart, who’ll turn 83 years young this month (August), shot a 5-over-par 148 to win the 80-to-84-year-old age bracket at the National Senior Games golf tournament held at the Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona, Iowa.
Ray shot 72 on Tuesday and a 76 on Wednesday for his 148 total, one shot better than his nearest competitor.
This Golf Tournament was held in conjunction with the National Senior Games that are being held throughout the greater Des Moines area.
Over 12,500 athletes are expected to compete in 25 different sports through August 4th.
