August is set to be a jam-packed month of activities at the Manitowoc County Historical Society.
The historical society has provided its schedule for the upcoming month, featuring opportunities for educators, children, and families alike.
The Summer Garden Tour serves as the first event of the month, coming on August 6th at 11:00 a.m., but it will be a member-only event.
Next up will be the Teacher Workshop on the 7th, which aims to teach local educators how to incorporate the Historical Society’s collections and the Pinecrest Village into their curriculum.
On the same day will be the Family Blacksmithing Workshop, which offers opportunities for hands-on projects.
Other notable events being held in the month of August will be the Hometown History Expo on the 9th and the Triumph and Tragedy: Evergreen Cemetery Historic Walking Tour being held throughout the day on the 20th.
