
SWAT was called in to assist in an arrest in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Police Department received a call yesterday (July 30th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. with the caller reporting a disturbance taking place at a residence in the 1200 block of Cedar Street.
The caller continued to explain that a 45-year-old Green Bay woman was yelling and throwing things inside the home.
Throughout the day, additional calls were made stating that the disturbances were continuing, prompting authorities to arrive on scene.
Once on scene, the 45-year-old woman failed to comply with police orders to exit the residence.
As a result, SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams were called in to assist at the residence.
At approximately 2:00 p.m., 11 hours after receiving the initial call, the suspect was taken into custody without further incident thanks to the help from SWAT.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and no additional information is set to be released at this time.
