A summer tradition in Sheboygan is celebrating a milestone at Bookworm Gardens next week.
The 15th annual Fairyfolk Festival will take place from August 5th to the 10th at the botanical gardens of Bookworm Gardens.
The five-day festival will feature 83 garden spaces, the dragon disco, fairy and gnome-themed craft opportunities, and much more, including demonstrations from the Sheboygan Fencing Club.
Along with the festival will be the return of the Fairyfolk Masquerade, a 21-plus evening event that will be held on August 8th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The masquerade will allow attendees to enjoy the gardens after hours while sipping on themed cocktails or mocktails and enjoying live music from the band Tangled Lines.
Elizabeth Wieland, Executive Director of Bookworm Gardens, noted, “This is the event that started it all. Fairyfolk is woven into the hearts of our visitors and into the memories of so many families who have made it a part of their summer every year since we opened.”
Admission to the festival will cost $15 for adults, $13 for those 3 to 17 years old, and free for those 2 years or younger.
Tickets will be available at the front gate or can be purchased online by visiting bookwormgardens.org.
