Firearms were seized after a traffic stop in Fond du Lac County.
A Deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office recently pulled over a vehicle containing two men from Milwaukee, who told the deputy that they had recently moved to the Fond du Lac area.
As a result of the traffic stop, two illegally possessed firearms were seized.
One of the guns, a Glock 17, was registered as stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department.
That same gun was also modified, making it fully automatic.
The other gun seized was a Glock 43X.
Both individuals were arrested, with one of them being a convicted felon for both violent crimes as well as possession with the intent to deliver illegal drugs.
The other man was arrested on a charge of Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
At this time, Deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office are working closely with the ATF and the Milwaukee Police Department in the investigation that remains ongoing.
