Some eastern Wisconsin communities are getting more grant money from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
The Village of Sheboygan Falls will collect $50,000 to start a Building Façade and Exterior Improvements and Maintenance revolving loan fund.
The loans will be used for façade improvements and maintenance in the city’s historic district, as well as in commercial and retail areas, with amounts ranging from $5,000 to $10,000.
The City of De Pere will receive $100,000 to expand its Experience De Pere Business recruitment Grant Program, while the Village of Hortonville will use $100,000 to provide financial assistance through a façade grant.
This grant will match $100,000 in Small Business Development Grants with $50,000 in local funds.
De Pere Mayor Jame Boyd said of the grants, “With these additional resources, we’re strengthening our economic heart, attracting new ideas, and fueling the vitality that makes our city thrive.”
