The two men accused of trying to sell tires off of a vehicle stolen in Manitowoc are free on bond.
19-year-old Jacob J. Holly of Manitowoc and 24-year-old Austin A. Krueger of Two Rivers were each given $5,000 signature bonds by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa as they each face a single charge of Receiving Stolen Property.
The two allegedly stole a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 from Hometown Auto Exchange LLC last week Friday after an employee accidentally dropped the keys.
The next day, they tried to sell the tires to two people who happened to be employees of Hometown Auto.
Holly and Krueger were both ordered to have no contact with the victim, Hometown Auto, or each other as a part of their bond.
They are both due for their initial appearances in Branch 1 on August 18th.
