Repair work in Sheboygan County will cause multiple roads to close this week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that work on Interstate 43, along with ongoing projects on State Highways 28 and 32, will impact traffic routes.
I-43 northbound will be closed at Garton Road and Orchard Road this week, daily, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This closure will be in place until Thursday evening (July 31st) and will allow crews to perform pavement repairs on the interstate.
On Highway 28, the bridge replacement project in Cascade continues to progress as well.
This week, milling and paving will continue on 28 heading north, while Highway 32 will have crews finishing up on the culvert replacement at Wilson-Lima Road.
They will then begin to mobilize their equipment to start work on a new box culvert in Cedar Grove.
As always, all road work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
