A deputy with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office has received a promotion.
The Sheriff’s Office has announced that Deputy Preston Orth has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, effective August 3rd.
Lt. Orth joined the agency in May of 2022 and has shown a consistent level of professionalism, dedication, and leadership during his time as a deputy.
Orth has gone above and beyond to help out his community, serving as a patrol deputy, Dive Team member, field training officer, and a BearCat pilot.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig expressed his appreciation of Lt. Orth, saying, “His contributions have had a positive impact on both our agency and the citizens we serve. Please join us in congratulating Lt. Preston Orth on this well-deserved promotion.”
