Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials have ceased trapping efforts for the bear that attacked a woman in Barron County.
Karen Frye, 69, was injured in her backyard in Comstock three weeks ago and has since been recovering.
Although the department set multiple traps, they caught only unrelated bears and have not seen the bear involved or its cub.
However, the DNR says it will continue monitoring the area.
