Authorities in Sheboygan are investigating after a hit-and-run accident over the weekend.
The Sheboygan Police Department reports that the incident took place at approximately 5:00 p.m. yesterday (July 27th) in the 1800 to 2000 block of Lakeshore Drive near High Avenue.
The caller, who was riding their bicycle, called police, stating they had been involved in an accident with a vehicle and that the driver had left the scene of the crash.
An unknown bystander who came across the victim would later transport them back to their residence after the hit-and-run.
At this time, Sheboygan PD is asking for the public’s help in locating the other driver involved.
No details were provided regarding the make or model of the suspect vehicle; however, anyone who witnessed the accident is urged to contact the Sheboygan Police Department at 920-459-3333 and reference case number C25-13288.
