A national effort to connect communities with their public safety teams will be celebrated in Brillion.
On Tuesday, August 5th, the Brillion Police Department and other local entities will be at Stone Prairie, located at W910 Center Road, for National Night Out.
The event will feature free train rides, face painting, a petting zoo, food trucks, and several emergency vehicles, including some from Theda Star.
Hot air balloons will also be lighting up the area starting at 6:00, while food trucks offer delicious food, and several community vendors will be on hand.
National Night Out was introduced in August of 1984 as an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
