
The Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors is looking for a new board member.
County Board Chairman Keith Abler explains that a vacancy has been opened in District 25 following the passing of former Supervisor Stanley Lammers last week.
The person chosen to fill the remainder of a two-year term, which expires in April 2026.
District 25 covers the Town of Holland and the Village of Cedar Grove.
Anyone interested in the seat must be a qualified elector and resident of the supervisory district.
The next board member will also get a base salary of $2,100 and mileage reimbursement.
County Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Sheboygan County Courthouse.
Applicants must submit their letter of interest and brief resume to Abler by Friday, August 15th, at 4:30 p.m.
They can be dropped off at the Sheboygan County Administration Building on New York Avenue.
