A new spokesman for a Milwaukee sausage producer will take over after the passing of Brewer Radio Announcer Bob Uecker.
Usinger’s Famous Sausage announced that Brewer great and former baseball MVP Robin Yount will follow in the footsteps of Uecker.
Baseball fans will be able to hear Yount talking about his fondness for Usinger’s brats and hot dogs during Milwaukee Brewers Radio broadcasts, which can be heard on 1240 WOMT.
Yount says he is “deeply honored to be asked to be part of the Usinger’s team, as I know how much Ueck enjoyed working with them. I’m also hoping to become their official taste tester!”
Usinger’s has been producing sausage products in Milwaukee since 1880.
