The Wisconsin DNR is looking for the best recycling organization in the state.
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Recycling Excellence Awards, which showcase and celebrate outstanding recycling efforts, as well as innovation and performance, among communities, tribes, nonprofits, schools, and businesses throughout Wisconsin.
The awards are presented in four categories: overall program, projects and initiatives, innovation, and special events.
Past winners have provided new collection and clean-up services for their communities, implemented waste reduction practices within their organization, and diverted impressive amounts of compostable and recyclable materials.
Groups interested in either nominating themselves or another organization can get the information at surveymonkey.com.
Nominations are accepted until September 15th.
