A car accident in Fond du Lac County has hospitalized three individuals.
FOX11 reports that the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received numerous 911 calls around 5:00 p.m. yesterday (July 24th) reporting a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 151 and Golf Course Drive in the Town of Taycheedah.
Initial investigations showed that a box truck, driven by a 36-year-old Green Bay man, was traveling northbound on 151 when it struck a northbound SUV that was waiting to make a turn at the intersection.
The impact sent the SUV into the southbound lane, where it was struck again by another SUV heading south.
The driver of the northbound SUV, a 39-year-old Fond du Lac woman, would suffer serious injuries during the accident and was transported to a local medical facility before being brought to Froedtert in Milwaukee for further treatment.
Both the box truck driver and the driver of the southbound SUV, a 55-year-old Fond du Lac woman, were also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
At this time, the three-car accident remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office
