The families of two young women injured in a downtown Milwaukee crash have spoken out.
They are voicing frustration over what they see as insufficient consequences for the driver involved.
The women, both 22, were hospitalized after a car slammed into a barrier while they were celebrating a graduation on Water Street.
Although police cited the driver for lacking insurance and registration, no arrest was made.
Alderman Robert Bauman criticized the city’s approach, saying reckless driving is not being taken seriously enough.
