
Sidewalks in Kiel will officially be replaced.
The city council approved a final resolution to levy special assessments for properties that will participate in the sidewalk replacement program.
Over 100 properties throughout the city could be included in the project.
The total amount assessed for the program is $53,350.
According to city documents, property owners can pay a single assessment to the Clerk-Treasurer of Kiel by October 15th or make seven yearly payments.
The council held a public hearing on the resolution; however, no one attended.
