An annual Two Rivers celebration has reached a half-century of fun.
SnowFest gets underway tomorrow (July 25th) through Sunday (July 27th) at Neshotah Park.
Friday’s events run from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., while Saturday kicks off with a parade at 11:00 a.m. downtown with the theme “Cheers to 50 Years.”
The free event also features music, including performances by Mae Simpson, Sam Llanas, and the Two Rivers High School Polka band, among others, throughout the weekend on the Seehafer News stage.
Saturday and Sunday also include free bingo with prizes.
The Friends of Two Rivers SnowFest revived the event in 2018 to help families create memories by offering live music, family-friendly activities, food, and more.
The organization has also donated over $10,000 to 15 different nonprofit, fraternal, civic, and service organizations. The origins of SnowFest date back to 1936, when snow was uncovered during a summer heatwave.
