After a week of significant increases, Eastern Wisconsin motorists are getting a bit of reprieve at the pump this week.
As of this morning, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel, as reported on the AAA Gas Prices website, is down ten cents to $2.90 since this time last week.
That was the largest drop in the area.
Sheboygan and Calumet Counties each reported seven-cent dips to $2.88 and $2.85, respectively, while Outagamie County’s average is down six cents to $2.83 per gallon.
Brown County motorists are paying nine cents less per gallon this week with an average of $2.84, while Kewaunee County is down three cents to $2.95, and Door County reports a five-cent drop to $2.97 per gallon.
The state average followed a similar trend, falling five cents to $2.92, while the national average is at $3.15, one penny cheaper than last week.
