Authorities in Oshkosh are searching for the suspect in a recent arson case.
The Oshkosh Police Department has said that they responded to a report of a fire at Oshkosh Defense in the early morning hours of July 10th.
The fire was extinguished by an Oshkosh Defense employee shortly after it was started, and no injuries were reported while the building itself sustained minor damage.
Upon viewing video surveillance of the incident, an individual, a younger white male, can be seen walking up to the building carrying a cardboard box.
The suspect then placed the box near the entrance of the building before lighting it on fire and fleeing the scene.
The unidentified man was wearing all black shoes, pants, a hooded sweatshirt, and a baseball cap.
Oshkosh PD is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
They have also posted two security camera clips showing the suspect approaching and leaving the building, which can be viewed by visiting the Oshkosh Police Department’s Facebook page.
Anyone with information regarding the fire or the suspect is urged to contact Detective Frey at 920-236-5700.
