There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (July 21st) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Finance Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
After the public is given time to comment, the group will review the rejection of a Two-Year Operator’s License Application in a closed session.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the chambers, where they will welcome Motor Pump Operator Michael Loritz and Police Officers Austin Schisel and Kaden Laurent.
They are then expected to authorize the submission of an application for a Harbor Assistance Program Grant for the extension of a crane platform, which would allow City Centre LLC to add up to 5 jobs.
There will also be a discussion regarding the removal of three non-ornamental street lights in the 1000 block of South 10th Street.
