A wrong-way driving SUV crash on Sunday resulted in one fatality and five injuries in Madison.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that the SUV, which was traveling in the wrong lane, struck another vehicle head-on and then caught fire.
The SUV’s driver was arrested for suspected impaired driving, and the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, a separate crash occurred when a sedan struck a DeForest Police squad car parked on the shoulder.
That driver was also arrested for OWI.
