Kohler-Andre State Park is searching for more than just answers after a recent incident.
The Friends of Kohler-Andre group has reported that a piece of its playground equipment has been stolen.
The piece, a fire truck riding toy, was installed in June and has since been taken from its springs.
While the group and park staff are hoping that the item may have been dumped somewhere at Kohler-Andre, it is yet to be located.
This new equipment was purchased with fundraising dollars raised by the Friends and cost more than $2,500, including installation fees, meaning that this qualifies as felony theft under state law.
Anyone with knowledge of the fire truck riding toy’s whereabouts is urged to contact the parks office at 920-451-1080.
