Christmas may be over five months away, but downtown Manitowoc is already getting in the spirit.
Evergleams on Eighth is celebrating Christmas in July through the 26th, with major deals at numerous downtown businesses.
This is the second year of the annual program, which allows residents and visitors alike to explore downtown Manitowoc at a leisurely pace.
Each participating business will have maps, official entry forms, and a clue as part of a Scavenger Hunt.
Shoppers will collect word clues, found in the participating businesses, for a chance to win gift baskets valued at more than $100 each.
Additionally, each business will offer specials in the spirit of the season, much like Krazy Daze in the past.
Participating businesses will also have a shiny aluminum Christmas tree, known as an Evergleam, on display.
These trees were produced in Manitowoc, and Evergleams on Eighth aims to ensure their legacy is never forgotten.
