The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) will be opening its 2025-2026 season with a horror-comedy classic.
STC will begin its 92nd season by presenting “Young Frankenstein” from September 26th through October 4th, and auditions are now open.
Auditions will be held on August 5th and 6th at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre inside Horace Mann Middle School, with callbacks taking place on August 7th.
The show is based on the cult-classic film by Mel Brooks and is promised to offer actors and attendees alike off-beat energy, big personalities, and a unique spin on the Frankenstein story.
STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts said, “If you’re 17 or older and drawn to fast-paced comedy, over-the-top characters, and a script that never takes itself too seriously, we’d love you to come out and audition for this show.”
The show will be directed by Lorenz “Larry” Marcus, who has more than 27 years of experience in directing, performing, and teaching.
Auditions are open to performers 17 years or older, but those under 18 must have parental permission.
