Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has ordered flags across the state to be lowered to half-staff this Saturday.
This decision has been made in order to honor David and Teri Pabst, a Middleton couple who were killed by their son earlier this month.
Their memorial services are scheduled for the same day.
David Pabst served more than 38 years with the Wisconsin State Patrol, while Teri worked as a special education teacher.
The July 7th incident has shocked the local community.
