The Plymouth School District is inviting parents to get their children involved in a program to serve as an introduction to the schooling experience.
The district has shared that registration is open for their 3-year-old kindergarten (3K) program, which will meet two mornings a year during the school year.
Plymouth’s 3K program was introduced in 2022 and provides young children with language activities, age-appropriate social and emotional development, fun and play-based learning opportunities, and much more.
Students enrolled are required to be potty trained and at least 3 years of age by September 1st.
There will be two scheduling options available to parents, which will be Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, each running from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Horizon Elementary School.
Classes will begin on either September 8th or 9th, depending on which schedule option a child is enrolled in.
Anyone with questions about the 3K curriculum can contact teacher Shaunna Renzelmann at 620-892-2661, extension 3106.
