A vote on a new affordable housing project in Milwaukee has been postponed until later this month.
The Common Council had been set to decide on Cudahy Farms, a proposed 212-unit development, but Alderwoman Larresa Taylor requested more time to work with the developer.
The council agreed unanimously to delay the decision.
While the developer has already reduced the number of proposed units, Taylor says further negotiations are needed to reach a suitable compromise.
