The search for the body of a teen who drowned in Sheboygan has come to an end.
Fire Chief Eric Montellano confirmed early this afternoon that the body of the 13-year-old boy was recovered from the water at Jaycee Quarry Park at around noon.
Above and below surface sonar was said to have been “pivotal” in the search efforts, which included dive teams from Sheboygan, Calumet, and Manitowoc Counties.
The identity of the teen is not being released at this time, and the circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.
More details are expected in the near future.
