The two people who fought with Manitowoc Police early Monday morning are free on bond.
31-year-old Elber Zamora Alfaro was given a $2,000 recognizance bond by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on charges of Battery to Law Enforcement, Resisting and Obstructing, and six counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Rosibel Gonzalez Jarquin was given a $1,000 recognizance bond on charges of Resisting and Obstructing, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police were called to the 1200 block of South 15th Street on a noise complaint, where they found Zamora Alfaro.
He was known to have a warrant out for his arrest, so police approached to arrest him, but he fled into the house.
He attempted to slam a door in the officers’ faces but was taken to the ground by one of the officers as he continued to resist arrest.
Gonzalez Jarquin then charged at the officers, but she was quickly subdued.
Zamora Alfaro was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety, while Gonzalez Jarquin had no conditions attached to her bond.
She is due for her initial appearance on August 7th, while Zamora Alfaro is due back in court on August 4th.
