Highway closures can be expected this week in Sheboygan County.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that both Interstate 43 and State Highway 23 will have sections closed this week as part of maintenance projects.
Highway 23 will be closed between County Road P and Inez Court, beginning this morning (July 14th).
The closure will only be in place while crews are actively working and is expected to be completed by Friday (July 18th).
23 will also have a daily closure at County Road TT from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday (July 15th) and ending on Thursday (July 17th) as crews perform cable guard repairs.
I-43 will also be having cable guard repairs done at County Line Road on Thursday, causing another closure from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
These road projects and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and may be subject to change.
