An Appleton man is facing a 5th OWI charge after being arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
WSP explains that a trooper made a traffic stop yesterday morning (July 13th) just after 11:15 a.m. on Interstate 41 north near Freedom Road.
The trooper saw signs of impairment from the driver, 40-year-old Andrew James Prahl, and did a field sobriety test.
Based on the results, Prahl was allegedly driving his vehicle above his .02 blood alcohol concentration restriction.
He was later arrested for OWI, a fifth offense.
He was taken to a local hospital for a blood draw before being taken to the Outagamie County Jail.
