Road construction is continuing in Two Rivers.
The city closed Monroe Street between 16th and 22nd Street to through traffic for Lead Service Lateral replacement.
The work requires the removal and replacement of pavement, as well as the replacement of water and sewer service lines at various locations.
Traffic is being detoured along 16th Street to Washington Street and back to 22nd Street.
The cross streets in the construction area are expected to remain open.
The project is scheduled to be done on August 15th.
