Crews are nearly done with the reconstruction of Highway 42 between Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
Brian Haen, the Project Manager with the DOT has confirmed with SeehaferNews.com that it is anticipated that crews from Vinton Construction should be done with the project by the end of next week.
The lines are being painted on the pavement this week, potentially into next week, and a little bit of work needs to be done on a box culvert.
Crews began reconstructing the road, also known as Memorial Drive, at the end of March, and predicted a completion date around the end of July.
Hean also confirmed that the project was right around on budget.
