Workers with the Milwaukee County Transit System have voted to authorize a strike.
The union says its members are upset with MCTS leadership after learning about an $11 million budget shortfall last month.
That announcement came while labor contract talks were ongoing.
Whether the strike happens will depend on the outcome of negotiations scheduled for today and Friday.
