The Sheboygan County Food Bank has reached a major fundraising milestone.
The Food Bank has announced that they have raised $215,000 through its Fund Food for Thought crowdfunding campaign. This campaign aims to support children throughout the community who are facing hunger.
The money raised will go towards ensuring that 650 local students have food to eat every weekend during the 2025-2026 school year.
Reaching this fundraising milestone was made possible, in large part, due to the generous match of $100,000 from the Black Spring Foundation.
Other partners the Food Bank thanked in their announcement included the Rotary Making Spirits Bright, who donated $50,000, and FifthColor, who provided marketing support for the campaign.
This is on top of the thanks given to all the community members who donated their own money to help further the Food Bank’s mission to feed children in Sheboygan County.
