A local restaurant that was originally started in Two Rivers is closing its Manitowoc location.
Grizzly’s Food and Spirits announced on its Facebook page that the restaurant on Washington Street will permanently close. Grizzly’s staff thanked customers for their support over the past few years.
The Manitowoc location has been listed for sale for a few months, and during the time of July 4th, the owners said they discussed alternatives and what direction they would like to see the restaurant go.
Grizzly’s owners say they couldn’t come to terms with letting their Two Rivers location go to obtain Manitowoc, and while they greatly enjoyed their time, they just couldn’t say goodbye to where it all started.
The Two Rivers location will still continue business as normal, and they will keep customers posted as to when it will reopen over the next day or two.
