A summer tradition in Elkhart Lake is back this weekend.
The 21st Midwest Acoustic Music Festival (MAMF) is set for Saturday (July 12th) from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Lake Street Café.
This year’s event is slated to feature 14 artists coming to perform from four states across the Midwest.
These artists are from as local as Plymouth to as far as Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Each year, MAMF looks to provide a stage and a voice to young musicians who do not have a platform to promote themselves.
The 21st MAMF will be headlined by Dave Tamkin of Madison, who takes the stage in the Lake Street beer garden at 8:00 p.m.
He will be followed by fellow headliners Jessie and Marshall out of Milwaukee at 9:00 p.m. and Oostburg’s Alex Simmons at 10:00 p.m.
This event will be free to attend and is open to adults 18 and up until 8:00 p.m., when patrons are required to be 21 years or older.
MAMF has been extremely well-received since its very first rendition and averages more than 800 attendees over the course of the day, annually.
Lake Street Café is located at 21 South Lake Street in Elkhart Lake, and more information, including a full list of performers, can be found by visiting the Midwest Acoustic Music Festival Facebook page.
