Tensions have risen between Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and members of the Common Council following a veto related to street parking regulations.
The council had previously approved parking on both sides of the streets in the 4th district, but the mayor overturned the decision.
He is calling for a street study by the Department of Public Works.
Alderman Robert Bauman criticized the need for a study, though a city ordinance mandates it before such changes can be made.
A potential override vote is set for next week.
