A man convicted of possession of child pornography and child enticement will be spending some time in prison.
According to court records, 37-year-old Robert Lee Curtis was sentenced to five years in prison followed by five years of extended supervision.
Curtis pleaded no contest to two charges of child enticement with sexual contact and possession of child pornography in June.
He was arrested in May 2023 after a female victim told law enforcement that Curtis had touched her inappropriately and forced her to touch him on numerous occasions.
When on extended supervision, he’s to maintain full-time employment or schooling, provide a sample of his DNA, take a psychosexual evaluation, and pay $500 for the child pornography charge.
Several other counts of possession of child pornography and 1st-degree child sexual assault were dismissed but read into the record during his plea hearing.
