
Two local semi-pro baseball teams will be back on the diamond this week after an extended holiday break.
The Manitowoc Bandits will try to improve on their 6-3 record today, as they host the Menasha Macs on Bruce Steinbecker Field.
Following that non-Shoreland League game, the former Two Rivers Polar Bears will take on the newly reformed Polar Bears at Walsh Field on Wednesday.
The Bears will be trying for their first win of the season, on a night where they will be celebrating Christmas in July with a Food Drive for the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry.
Then, on Thursday, the Shoreland League All-Stars will square off against the Door County League All-Stars for an exhibition game at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay.
The Bears will close out the week with a matchup in Casco’s Village Park against the Athletics.
