Citizens of Sheboygan will have the chance to get to know their local law enforcement works next month.
The Sheboygan Police Department and Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers will be hosting National Night Out on August 5th at King Park, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
National Night Out is an annual event held across the country, aiming to strengthen the bond between local law enforcement and residents.
For Sheboygan’s event, law enforcement and emergency vehicles will be on hand along with more than 50 educational exhibits, food trucks, a DJ, and much more.
This serves as a great opportunity for residents to not only get to know those who protect their safety but also better understand what they experience on the job whether they are police officers, firefighters, or public servants.
