Sheboygan residents now have the chance to name one of the many trucks in the City’s fleet.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has launched the “Name That Truck” campaign, which will accept submissions until August 1st.
The DPW’s fleet consists of numerous trucks and other vehicles that are used to clean streets, prune trees, and improve local roadways.
The primary trucks looking for names will include garbage trucks, street sweepers, and dump trucks that also serve as snow plows in the winter.
This contest will be open to all community members; however, submissions must be on topic, and any offensive or derogatory names will not be accepted.
The Sheboyganites picked as the winners will then have the opportunity to have their name featured on a DPW truck and get a photo with the vehicle receiving its new name.
Those interested in entering submissions for the “Name That Truck” contest can find a link to do so by visiting the Sheboygan Department of Public Works Facebook page.
