The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum will create more Really Big Prints.
The event is a biennial, multi-day, large-scale relief printmaking that brings 40 artists and their helpers from around the state and region to the Cool City.
The really big prints will start on Wednesday, July 16th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and finish on Saturday, July 19th, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
There will be free admission to the museum, which gives families a chance to enjoy the collection of wood types, circus poster blocks, printing presses, and more.
The museum will also host a scavenger hunt with prizes to be won. Artists applied to participate in January, and accepted artists spent the next 5-6 months carving designs into their large wood blocks.
The City of Two Rivers is contributing a ‘small’ steamroller and driver to this year’s event, as they did for the 2023 event, to create prints.
