
The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra has announced shows for its upcoming 75th season.
The milestone season will kick off on Saturday October 4th with Sibelius & Mozart. Pianists Diana Shapiro and Stanislava Varshavski will perform a Mozart double piano concerto to recognize music education as the Holy Family Conservatory celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Then, on Sunday, December 21st, the group will present Noel! Bach & Handel.
The festive concert filled with timeless holiday music will also feature the grand return of former MSO Director Wayne Wildman as the featured artist.
MSO will then celebrate Valentine’s Day with Valentine’s Gershwin & Song, bringing virtuoso pianist Kelleen Strutz back home to the lakeshore.
The 75th Season concludes on April 11th with Beloved Beethoven & Bruch featuring native son, violinist Andrew Dunlap, playing the lush and passionate piece Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
All concerts are performed at the Capitol Civic Centre, Manitowoc. Season tickets are currently on sale at ManitowocSymphony.org/season-tickets.
